Our story

Welcome home!

We are Anna and Mathieu! Originally from Toulouse and lovers of the Pyrenees which allowed us to escape on weekends, we decided to live there to enjoy it on a daily basis, far from the urban bustle. Return to a simpler life: gardening, cooking, enjoying nature and sharing our passion for the mountains!

Subscribe to our newsletter to follow our news.

Going back to the source, for us it's not just a metaphor ! We go up our Garonne river from Toulouse to Arlos!

Our values

Our eco-responsible guest house is closely linked with this desire to nature and the preservation of our environment.

The most important thing for us is to participate in the local economy, hand in hand with the valley producers. With us you will taste beers from local breweries, honeys and cheeses from Comminges, organic flour our homemade bread and local meats (beef, lamb, veal). For example, our beef comes from our neighbor and breeder Jean-François, his cows climb in summer to the mountain pasture of Mourtis, a stone's throw from our house! This is why we cook only seasonal products, the most local and ethical. possible, in search of the biological. Our vegetable garden allows us to produce our own vegetables greedy and could not be more local. Being flexitarians we offer meals for all diets food (vegetarian, vegan, vegan, gluten-free...)

The cleaning of the house is done with homemade household products as much as possible with environmentally friendly ingredients.

Our reasoned energy comes from an energy distributor green and local (precisely of the Rebouc hydroelectric dam in the Hautes-Pyrénées, 30 km as the crow flies from Arlos) and we we heat with local wood!

We are moving towards zero waste, thanks in particular to compost, bulk purchase and homemade until household products !

When you come, do not hesitate to discuss it with us if you want to know more about our eco-responsible approach!
